Bruins Have Their Swagger Back

Rexinis

The Boston Bruins have their swagger back. The Bruins have been atop the Eastern Conference since December and haven't looked back since. The regular season ends next weekend. The Bruins Have clinched the Eastern Conference with a win yesterday over the New York Rangers 1-0. Tim Thomas receieved his 5th shutout of the season blanking the Rangers with 27 saves.
Mark Recchi is proving to the city of Boston that he was a worthy pickup. In his last 5 games he has 3 goals and 2 assists and is also adding that veteran leadership that the Bruins were lacking. After a 2 week skid of losing 6 out of 10 the Bruins are looking better than ever. They are playing some of the best defense in the league allowing the fewest goals out of any team. They are peaking at the right time heading into the playoffs. It still has yet to be determined but the B's are definitaly looking to go deep in the playoffs this season so keep your stations tuned to nesn.
